Jacob came to us originally as a foster for Charlie’s Angels Rescue. But he quickly asserted himself into our pack and became so vital to its hierarchy that we soon asked if he could just stay. Being part cattle dog, Jacob is extremely high energy and can be quite dominant, which we could imagine might cause problems in the wrong household. So it seemed easier for him to put down permanent roots and call us home.
Definitely part of our active play group, Jacob plays and runs harder than any other dog here. But come nighttime, he is all about bed sleeping. No midnight patrols for this guy! He leaves that to the others and curls up at our feet until morning.
