Havana is one of the few dogs here at MMAS who is for adoption. She is a foster we’re keeping for Charlie’s Angels Rescue, and she will make someone a wonderful companion.
A dog with no serious issues, Havana loves everybody. She gets along with other dogs, with cats, and all people. She’s a world-class snuggler and will want to sit on your lap for hours. She can be vocal, which is typical for all hounds and hound mixes. So while she is crate-trained, she is still going to tell you when she thinks she’s been there too long, and she is going to tell you with persistence.
The benefits of adopting a dog from rescue include such perks as the dog already being spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and at least partially housetrained. This is exactly the case with Havana. Havana has lived inside our house with no problems, and she has also spent time outside with our pack. She’s a medium-to-small sized dog and has such a gentle personality that dogs with aggressive play styles frighten her. She will be great with children and live happily as the only dog or with other friendly dogs in the home.
For those interested in adopting Havana, we recommend that you contact Tania through the website linked HERE. You can find her direct email link on that site. If you contact us, we will refer you to Charlie’s Angels, since we don’t have the resources to process or expedite adoptions.
